A few months ago we were called out to a misfueled Vauxhall Insignia at a small business on Canbury Park Lane in Kingston. One of our fuel drainers wanted to have a bit of fun when called out to a misfueled Toyota Aygo at Chessington World of Adventures last month. He did the fuel drain and then wanted to go into the park for a ride or two. Unfortunately for him he received another callout just as he completed the drain. Better luck next time mate.

One of the most interesting fuel drains that we’ve had to do involved a broken down Lexus is20 on the Kingston Bridge in rush-hour traffic. Needless to say the job was quite stressful but we managed to get it done with minimum fuss and disruption.

We did a wrong fuel removal on a Ford Galaxy a little while ago at the BP Petrol Station in Rushett. The customer had put 50 litres of petrol in his diesel car. We drained the wrong fuel out and had him fill up again – this time with the correct stuff.

Last year we did a fuel drain on a beautiful Mercedes SLK at the Fulham Football Club Training Ground on Motspur Park (not mentioning any names). It’s not the first time we’ve done fuel drains for celebrities and I’m sure it won’t be the last.

Wrong Fuel Norbiton – Petrol in Diesel Norbiton
We’ve actually been called out to the Kingston Hospital in Norbiton on a few occasions to remove the wrong fuel from vehicles parked there. The last one was a diesel VW Golf with petrol in it: “Thank you for your service at a very stressful time for us. When I put the wrong fuel in my car I was gutted but you were able to get the car running again without any problems.”

The most recent fuel drain we did in Tolworth was at a residential address near the Tolworth Hospital. The customer had misfueled an Audi A4 but had managed to get the car home.
